Fall Activities

This Fall sure has been busy.  Nate and I attended so many different fall festivals, pumpkin patches, etc, that we have to go to one or two every weekend. I LOVE fall events and everything about them.  We had a blast taking to Maya to all of them for the first time as well. 

Hallzooween is a tradition with all of my college girlfriends.  The kids get to dress up and Trick or Treat at the Zoo.  It was a a blast as always

We tried a new event this year called Halloween Nights at Parky's Farm and it was AWESOME!!!  It is from 6-10pm and they have a dark hayride thru the woods, animals, bounce houses, fire pit to make smores, live children song performer and playgrounds.  We had a blast.  My camera died, so we only have pictures from my phone. 

This was Maya's 1st Hayride and we rode it 3 times.  She feel asleep everytime :)

The Meinges Pumpkin Patch is something i have gone to since I was a little girl with Neetie and Paw Paw, so we have continued that with Cole and now Maya.  Cole loved the pony rides and Maya loved all the people.

 One that we just started going to last year is Burger Farms.  It is wonderful!  They have a hayride to a pumpkin patch, carnival games, rides and a puppet show.  Cole LOVED the games this year and the cow bucket ride.

 Shaw Farms is another favorate of ours.  We started going there about 5 years ago with Jessie and her kids and we now take out own kids.  They have a corn maze that we decided to try this year and we got lost in it for over an hour. The kids were great, but, Amy, her mom and myself were ready to be DONE!!

 Cole and his BEST friend Braden.  These two are so funny together and it is just awesome to see them be such good buddies.

UC Football- Miami and Fordham

We continued our streak of attending all home UC  Games.  

We went kidless with Amy and Jimmie to Homecoming which was great!  It was nice to run around campus and do all the things that Nate likes to do during Homecoming

The next week, October 13th we decided to take the kids again and had a great time with the Snider's.  It was good to see them and we need to do a better job at hanging out with them more often.  Lots of pictures from this game below :)

Reds in the Playoffs

The Reds made the Playoffs this year and we were so excited!!  We watched every game and even went to the last game of the series.  Below are pictures from the 1st Series which the Reds ended up loosing to the Giants in. 

This game was also Maya's 1st Reds Game and we made sure to get her a certificate. 

 

Fisher Family Picnic- September 2012

On September 30th the Fisher Family meet at a park in Georgetown Indiana for a family picnic.  It was an awesome time with the family. There was plenty of fun and food of course.

Here is a great picture of Nana and 2 of her granddaughters with 2 of her great-grandkids. I LOVE this picture and will have to get one framed at home :)

 

It was a GREAT time with the Fisher Family.  The kids had sooo much fun playing lots of games and playing on the playground. Cant wait to have another one some time soon!

Bearcats Football.... so far

I am also several games behind on the Bearcat season.  We have been to all home games and have only missed the away games.  Below is a recap in pictures!!

UC vs. Deleware State was the kiddos second game and they had a blast!!  We had fun with Jessi, Joe, Becky and Dave too :)

UC had a HUGE game against Virgina Tech in DC and we had a nice time watching it at home as a family.  It was an intense game and the Bearcats won on a last second Touchdown .  Me, Nate and Cole yelled so loud it woke up a sleeping Maya!

UC Homecoming was a BLAST!!!  We went no kiddos and took Amy and Jimmie to their first UC game!  I think they had a great time too.  Not many pictures as we were so busy running from place to place and chatting with everyone ;)
