Decorating for Christmas

This past Sunday we decorated for Christmas.  It was really a lot of fun and Cole really got into it this year.  I let Cole pick out his own Ornament and he choose Spongebob. He was happy to show it to me and put it on the tree.

Cole wanted to put all the Ornaments on, so when he took a nap when had to move some of them around since they were all in the same area.  I got Maya a little girl in a stroller as her 1st Christmas ornament and she enjoyed putting in on the tree as well with a little help from Daddy.

We sure are excited for Maya's first Christmas!!!

Thanksgiving 2012

This was Maya's first Thanksgiving and we sure have a lot to be Thankful for. This year we headed to Zanesville and had a blast as always.

Maya enjoyed meeting the kittens!! The below is Butterscotch which is Cole's fav :)

This is our little turkey in her crib at Gran and Grandpa's and our little Indian after school!  I love these two!!!

Maya is 5 months Old!!!

I just cant believe that Maya is 5 months old.  She is a WONDERFUL baby.  She does not sleep much during the day, but sleeps from 7:30pm-7:30am (i have to wake her then to take Cole to school, so who knows how long she really would sleep). We did not go to the dr. this month so I do not have a weight and height, but I know she is growing. She is really a "talker"and has rolled from her belly to back.

Cole wanted in on the picture and sticker action!!

Turning 5 months means that Maya gets to eat. She was ok with her first cereal experience.

She even got to have some Apples. Cole, Gran and Grandpa made the applesauce that I then made into baby food. She seemed to REALLY like Apples.

She has since had Bananas, Avocado (NOT A FAN), Mango and Squash.

Cole's Surgery

On November 5th Cole had his tonsils removed.  The actual surgery was very fast and the doctor said the tonsils basically fell right out.  She did not touch his adenoids since they did not look large at all.

Cole had to spend the night in the hospital to make sure he was good to go.  It was overall an ok night, but Cole did have a few meltdowns over the IV. He HATED it!!!!  We had a few visitors while we were there as well, which was nice.  During surgery, Nikki and Josh came to visit since they are there with their precious Connor.  Kelly a friend of mine from high school who works at children's came down during surgery as well. That night Neetie, Paw Paw and Maya came bay and it was nice for Cole to have some distraction from the IV.

In the morning we went for many walks while we waited  to get discharged. Below is a picture of Cole picking out something to eat for Breakfast.

Before we were sent home Leah, another friend of mine who works at the hospital came to visit as well. We were sent home about 10am and we were all ready to go.

Maya was super excited to have her brother home as you can see below :)

Cole got a WONDERFUL cookie basket from TGG and we all enjoyed them.

Happy Halloween 2012

Happy Halloween from the Baughman!!

Maya was ready for her 1st Halloween.

This is the third year we have headed over to Amy's house to go Trick or Treating. Here are the kiddos ready to go this year :)  They were all so super excited.

Maya feel asleep during her first Trick or Treating experience....

We sure do love our little Curious George.

Halloween Parades at School!

Cole is in two different classes as school.  One calls is Monday and Tuesday while the other is Wednesday thru Friday.  Because of this he got two parades and 2 Halloween Parties :)

On Tuesday, October 30th, Cole chose to be Buzz Lightyear.  He got the costume from Neetie and Paw Paw for his Birthday and has LOVED it ever since.

Maya had fun watching her brother!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

On Halloween, Cole chose to ear his actual costume and be Curious George at school.

My Girl and I at the Parade!  Neetie came this day as well.

Pumpkin Carving

Pumpkin Carving has always been a big deal at our house.  Nate and I have carved pumpkins every year since we have been together.  Typically Nate spends HOURS on his, but now that kids have been included, he has to go a little faster and help with other pumpkins as well.

Maya was excited for her 1st Pumpkin Carving

Cole was NOT a fan of cleaning the pumpkins out, but loved hammering in his light brite pegs.

Maya with 2 of the 4 Pumpkins.  She is the cutest pumpkin!

 LOVE these too so much!!

Finished products!!!! Maya's was only painted so it does not show up in the dark picture.
