Christmas Pictures and 5 months

Cole and I had a photo session at home for our Christmas card and they turned out GREAT!! I am so excited for his first Christmas. He LOVES the lights on the tree and enjoys playing with it.

He is also over 5 months old now. He turned 5 months on December 9th. I can not believe it. I just re read over our early post and I can not believe how big and strong he is after his rough start. He is truly my little miracle and I love him more than anything in this world. It is amazing how fast your life changes (for the good) when a baby is born. We are best buddies already and I hope we always remain close. Since I am working for home, I spend the majority of my time with the little guy and I would not trade that for anything. He is really growing up. He rolls from his belly to back and back to belly. He is rarly in the same postion for long. He is a mover. He also has TWO teeth. He got his first one on 12-10-09 and his second on 12-14-09. Cole is loving his cereal and we will be starting fruits and vegetables here soon. Life is GREAT and I can not wait for the Holidays with our little family.

4 month check-up

It is hard to believe it, but Cole is 4 month old aready. He is such a BIG boy. He had a check-up today and he is now 16.7 pounds (75%) and is 27 1/4 inches long(98%). He is loving his cereal and really starting to show his outgoing personality already. He is a ham already!!! He has had a few overnights with Neetie and Paw Paw and will be heading back to Zanesville for the second time this weekend. I think he is sad to see Nate's Football season over, but he still has been to MSJ and UC games.

Cole has been sick for a few weeks now, yet he is still happy all the time. He is starting to sit up with help and I think it will be no time before he is sitting up all alone.

Below are some pictures from this past few weeks. He sure likes phots :)

3 months

I am a little behind, but wanted to update everyone on Cole. He is 3 and 1/2 months old now. At 3 months we were at the Doctor with a little cold and he was weighed. He is now 15 lbs, 2 ounces. WHAT A BIG BOY!!! He is such a happy, alert, fun baby. He always wants to stand and be in the action. When we got his 3 month pictures, there were NO smiles. I could not believe it. Cole has continued to go to Football games, dinners, etc. He is a GREAT baby out and about as well. He loves to sit on Mommy and Daddy's lap at the table and look around. We started cereal about a week ago and he is liking it so far. It has even helped with his sleep and he has only been getting up once a night which is nice. Below are some pictures from the last month or so.

2 months and Football!!

It has been a long time since I have been on here. Cole is just growing like a weed. He is getting so big, smiling, "talking" and playing so much more. At his two month check-up he was 12 pounds, 8 ounces and 24 inches long. He was in the 85th percentile for height and 75 for weight. BIG BOY!! Most people who see him can not believe he is only two months old.

This Fall has been busy already for Cole. He has been to 4 Glen Este Varsity Games, 2 other high school varsity games, 2 JV Games and a UC Football game. All he has left to do in the Football world is a Mount St. Joe game, which will happen in October. Below are so pictures of the little man!

1 month

It is hard to believe, but Cole is now 1 month old. We went to the doctor today and everything is looking great. He is a BIG boy! He weighs 10 pounds, 7 ounces which is in the 75th percentile and he is 23 and a half inches, which is off the chart- 95th percentile. We are not sure where the height came from, but he may pass mommy and daddy at the age of 3. We were also told he has great head control and can raise his head to a 90 degree angle when on his belly, which is normally not happening till 4 months. Cole even rolled over from his stomach to his back for the first time yesterday and again today.

The doctor did say he wants to watch his pallet in his mouth over the next few months. They believe it could be split in two which would affect his speech later on in life. Nothing to really worry about, just something they will keep in eye one.

We have a busy week coming up. Amy, Logan and Avery are in town to play with Cole and then the Fisher clan is coming up Saturday. More updates and pictures from this week to come.

Picc Line

As most of you may or may not know, Cole's Picc line is out. The Children's Home Care nurse came and took the Picc Line out at 1pm on Saturday August 1st. It was GREAT! We are so excited that Cole now has no wires, cords, tubes, etc. It was an exciting day and we had reason to celebrate. We decided right then to drive to Zanesville to meet the Baughman clan. Nate's cousin was having a summer party so we surprised the family and showed up. It was great to see everyone and we were excited for Cole to meet his family. Cole did great on the trip there. He slept the whole car ride. He did not sleep so great that night at the party or at Grandma and Grandpa's house, but we were still glad we made the trip. Cole also got to meet the Butlers, Sowards and Vousdens.

We also had a big day yesterday, Cole's cord fell off and he can now have a real bath. I will report on that after it happens. He also is now balding like his daddy and it makes me laugh every time I see it. Cole also made his first trip to Mount St. Joe with mommy yesterday. I had a meeting about the Alumni Board and Cole came along for the ride.

We have a busy week coming up, so I will try to update the blog as soon as I can. We are having lunch with Jess, one of Cole's Special Care Nursery nurses on Friday, Glean Este Football scrimmage on Saturday, Grandma and Grandpa Baughman are coming down on Sunday, then Amy, Logan and Avery will be here all next week and the calendar is already full. Cole will also get to meet some of the Fisher/Stojakovich clan, including his 2nd cousin Natalie, who is 2 weeks older than him.
