Maya's 1st trip to the Zoo

On Maya's 2 month Birthday we took a family trip to the Zoo, complete with Neetie and Paw Paw.  It was a BEAUTIFUL day and weekend.  It has been soo hot her that we have barley done anything, so we wanted to get everyone out and enjoy the outdoors.

Maya is 2 months old

I cant believe that Maya is already 2 months old.  She is doing awesome!!  She is cooing and smiling which is a normal development milestone at this age.  The Dr. was VERY impressed with everything.  She is sleeping WONDERFUL!!  We have had some 10.5 hour nights, but 7 hr stretches are her normal.  Below are the pictures I took for her 2 month Birthday!

What a sweet face!  She is a WONDERFUL baby and we are totally spoiled.  Cole is also really loving her now.  He talks to her, always wants to get pictures with her and wants to hold her.

Life with 2!!!

Well... life with 2 has been challenging, yet rewarding at the same time.  Cole is AWESOME with Maya.  He wants to play with her and help me do things while Nate is gone.  He seems to really enjoy her and cant wait for her to do more.  Cole has been acting out and not listening to us much and going through a whiny phase, but we hope it ends soon.  Below are some pictures of the two of them the last few weeks.  TOO CUTE!!!

You always hear that your heart grows with each child so you can love them equally and WOW is that true :)  LOVE YOU COLE AND MAYA!!!

Nate and I had a wonderful date night and went to Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney in Indianapolis!!

We had a BLAST and even got upgraded seats because Jimmie is a veteran!  What a fun adult night out :) Thanks to Gran and Neetie for watching the kiddos. 

Maya's 1st Trip to UC

On July 27th, Maya had her 1st of MANY trips to UC!  It was fin to take her down to see the campus and meet the cheerleaders.  Cole had fun "showing" her around.  He showed her the football field, where we park, the gym and "the bearcat" poster we pass in one of the buildings :)
