Just got back from the Doctor. I was supposed to have an appointment on Wednesday, but had some concern about some yellow discharge so I called the office and they wanted to see me today. I have lost 1 pound and my heart rate was 130 over 80.
The baby measured good and had a good heart beat. The doctor believes I may have a slight yeast infection, but it is nothing to worry about and I do not need to treat it at this time. I have to watch it and if it gets worse or if I have new symptoms then they well have me use some over the counter medication for it.
The doctor then checked me for progress and even the nurse had here fingers crossed... again, NO Dialation!! At least this time he said I was thining out, but he could not feel my cervix. I am beginning to believe this baby would stay in forever if it was up to him. I am trying to keep my spirits up as much as possible, but it is getting a little depressing. You just look forward to your due date your whole pregnancy, so the idea of going past it seems like the end of the world. Let's hope for some good progress this week.
I will be going back next Wednesday, July 8, for an Ultrasound, Stress Test and an appointment. AFTER that appointment we can then discuss inducing me. I will be trying to convince him to induce me that day to insure Nate will be there for the birth. Nate will miss the birth if it happens on July 11, due to a Master's Exit Exam, therfore, we will need to move fast after that appointment. Keep sending the positive thoughts and prayers. Baby Baughman needs to make his apperance soon.
